ABC Newsletter

Hello again,

Abandoned Baby Care has gone through some major changes since our September newsletter. Our first success story is that David and Meme have been reconciled back to their family, after being with us for seven years. We also are happy to say that three children were recently adopted by a family from Denmark. Three children have been adopted locally.

Our volunteer from Netherlands had a great time on our trip to the nature reserve , we saw many animals, and the children enjoyed having Lieke with us. We have a need for volunteers, which we are searching the planet for.

Our Christmas holidays were filled with many party’s for the children. Our appreciation and thanks go to all the individuals and groups who made this possible. We received much needed donations of clothing, personal hygiene items, food, stationary and toys. We were donated an irrigated vegetable garden. The children have all become keen farmers and are learning all about gardening, how veggies grow and come from.

We recently helped an abandoned baby girl, until we could reunite her with family members for permanent care. We also have a new family member that joined us end of January. We are asking for help right now with funding as we are having a shortfall with it for the first time in years. If you can help us with a “gift” contribution it would be of great help to us.

That’s all we have for you now.
